Overview
GGP Prepare is the e-learning portal designed for educators and students to experience the full career development cycle – career awareness, career exploration, career readiness, and career experience. Once users have registered, they will have access to a full suite of modules and lesson activities that are designed to support students’ understanding of what is possible in their future.
We want you, the educator, counselor, administrator, or student to feel empowered with the knowledge and resources that will guide yourself or the youth that you serve on the path towards future career success.
As a GGP Prepare user you will:
- Gain free access to a suite of career development lessons, activities, and extension resources that will help guide yourself or your students towards a path of career readiness
- Build a PROSPER Mindset, the foundation of lifelong learning and success in the future workplace
- Harness the power of entrepreneurism and instill the values and passion for inquiry needed to be your own boss.
STEP 1: GGP PREPARE Account Registration
Registration is as simple as a click of a button and offering basic information – name, email, and intended user role. Once Geauga Growth partnership staff receives your registration, you will be grouped by role and access to material will be granted.
STEP 2: Curriculum Access & Student Accounts
GGP Prepare is set up in such a way that educators or campus administrators can pick up with each unit and guide students through the lesson content. Students can also register for an account and move through the lesson content asynchronously. The units are sequential, taking you through the career development cycle – Career Awareness, Career Exploration, Career Readiness, and Career Experience. The last unit, Youth Entrepreneurship, is a standalone unit.
STEP 3: Log In & Begin!
On your first visit, you’ll want to become familiar with the GGP Prepare Career Development LMS. Each unit will have a starting point for educators and students, so be mindful of the title and contents within. Each lesson will guide you through an introduction, learning activities, and reflection.
